London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham choose Manifest Software Solutions to help with their move to the Cloud
London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham (LBHF) are embarking on a journey being undertaken by a lot of progressive organisations seeking to deliver cost effective services to their customers. LBHF are looking to make maximum use of cloud solutions to provide cost effective and resilient IT systems for the business. But moving to the cloud can present challenges, particularly during the transition from on-premise to cloud.
On-premise systems often contain a lot of bespoke and custom functionality that the business has come to rely on. Some of this bespoke functionality will provide essential integration with other business systems that will continue to be required long into the future. Moving to a fully supported cloud hosted solutions can mean having to review all bespoke functionality and decide how best to manage and support this functionality during, and after the move to the cloud.
LBHF realised that this was a major undertaking and that they needed help from an experienced company who could work closely with their own extremely knowledgeable staff to ensure a successful transition to the Cloud. Manifest Software Solutions were selected to assist with the review of all bespoke functionality, and where appropriate port the code into the Universal Adapter framework where it can be fully supported by the Manifest Software implementation team.
Advanced DRS
Manifest Software Solutions has been assisting the LBHF project team with the implementation of a new corporate Advanced DRS solution that will be used by all LBHF’s main contractors to centrally manage repairs appointments. This ensures that LBHF retain total visibility and control of all appointments allowing the service provided to their customers to be closely monitored.
Northgate Cloud Migration
As a part of LBHF’s “Cloud First” approach, the on-premise Northgate housing system will be migrated to the cloud. Doing so requires all bespoke functionality and integration with other systems to be carefully reviewed. Manifest Software Solutions are working with LBHF’s staff to help review all bespoke functionality and help with the migration of the Northgate housing system to the Cloud.
