Universal Adapter provides DLO with fully integrated Total Mobile solution
As one of the largest housing providers in the UK, and a member of the G15, Optivo provides affordable homes to over 90,000 people across London, the South East and the Midlands.
In 2016, Optivo began a programme to move its digital applications to use one piece of sophisticated software to manage integrations. This would allow them to connect its housing management system with other core systems. In October 2016, Manifest Software Solutions were appointed.
Robert Stewart, Head of Design & Development said; “We wanted integration software that was up to the job and we required an extended member of our team who would be productive from proof of concepts.”
He added: “We realised that we needed to use the same set of techniques for various systems, so required a supplier who could sit in the middle, build once and use lots of times.”
Results
Using Manifest Software Solutions’ Universal Adapter, Manifest Software Solutions integrated Orchard’s housing management system with Total Mobile, allowing DLO jobs to be raised in the housing management system and then transferred to the DLO’s system in real-time.
All updates coming back from the contractor are updated back into Orchard, meaning jobs are always in sync.
Robert added “It’s important for us to have one core system of raising orders and to communicate outwards.”
