Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council go live with the Manifest Software Solutions unified diary viewer to provide staff real-time access to contractor diaries
The unified diary viewer allows Welwyn staff logged into Council systems to easily view and manage contractor appointments without leaving their system. The integrated viewer includes a comprehensive range of familiar features such as:
- View all contractor availability
- Warn if an appointment already exists for this repair
- Book an appointment
- Re-Book an appointment (automatically cancelling old appointment)
- Cancel an appointment (not used by Welwyn)
- Transfer a request for a specific appointment through to a back office planner
If the contractor hasn’t yet received the repair works order, the diary viewer will extract the details from the housing system and create the repair in the contractor system. All this happens in real time so the agent can continue booking appointments without interruption or delay.
The unified diary viewer can be embedded into any system and connected to any number of scheduling systems. It always presents the same familiar screen regardless of which contractor or diary is being viewed, so that staff are not presented with different screens from different systems.
